A friend of mine fell in love with this girl who was coming every summer on student exchange, they have been dating for the past 3 summers he went to visit her in her country. Now she is not able to come anymore since she is not student so she can’t take her J1 visa. He want to marry her. So is it better to get her K1 /or K2/ fiancee visa, and what’s the difference, and how to apply for that visa, and how long would the visa let her stay in the USA legally? Or would he break go to her country and marry her there and then bring her to the USA? Pls explain what’s the difference between k1 and k2 visas, how to apply for them, and for what period of time they are valid? And also how he tin bring her here if he goes and marry her in her country? The most detailed respond get’s the points.
