When Britney first hooked up with Kevin Federline, I think everyone questioned the backup dancer’s intentions. Afterall, he began seeing Britney while still in a relationship with girlfriend Shar Jackson, the mother of his daughter, Kori, who was several months pregnant with the couples’ second child! Over the next few years, Brit’s fans became more and more concerned that Kevin was just using her when they saw the amount of “things” Britney’s unemployed hubby was acquiring for himself – or so it seemed.Sources close to the former couple have revealed to X17 that Kevin was actually the only one in Britney’s life who ever said “no” to her and suggest that it was one of the reasons she was so attracted to him in the first place, and possibly why she’s gotten so out of control without him! With no one to rein her in (she recently fired her entire staff), Britney seems to have gone over the edge. In fact, a possible threat from Kevin regarding their children, seems to be the only thing to get her to commit to rehab – hopefully for good! Could it be true that while everyone was calling Kevin a loser, he was actually the more “with-it” half of the couple???

Britney Spears has taken ecstasy and cocaine for years, her former sister-in-law has claimed.

Amanda Alexander - sister of Britney’s first husband Jason Alexander, who was married to the pop superstar for just 55 hours in 2004 - says she has seen the ‘Toxic’ singer taking the drugs.

Amanda, who claims she witnessed Britney taking cocaine in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, told In Touch Weekly magazine: “When I was around her, she took ecstasy.”

Another acquaintance of Britney’s from Kentwood, Kent Smith, said: “I’ve known Britney at least 10 years. We partied at Club 360 in New Orleans three years ago. She does like to party. I’ve been there when she’s done ecstasy and cocaine.”

Sources also allege Britney’s drug use caused her split from husband Kevin Federline. Their marriage ended shortly after they were seen having a huge row on Halloween (31.10.06), the night his debut album was launched.

A source said: “Kevin was mad because he knew she was high on coke.”

Kevin has now demanded an emergency custody hearing to decide who will get guardianship of the couple’s two sons - 17-month-old Sean Preston and five-month-old Jayden James.

Larry Rudolph, manager for Britney Spears, said the rumors regarding Britney Spears being on suicide watch are ‘absolutely untrue.”

Larry added, ‘She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better.-

A magazine that Britney’s manager was referring to reported on Britney’s supposed suicide attempts and threats with a headline that reads, “BRITNEY ATTEMPTS SUICIDE.”

According to other reports, Britney has attempted to physically hurt at least one other person. Before entering rehab for the third time in one week, Britney Spears reportedly attacked a photographer and vehicle with an umbrella a few nights ago.

According to the agency, Spears went to soon-to-be ex husband Kevin Federline’s house at “around 7 pm and rang the bell at his gate three times with no answer.”

The agency added that Britney Spears “was so frustrated that when her assistant stopped the car, Britney grabbed an umbrella and went after our photographers.”

Britney Spears is back in Rehab, but not without some bizarre antics at a gas station. She attacked a photographer and his car with an umbrella on Wednesday night, and it was all caught on tape and in still-photos.

The complete situation is starting to come together. After being photographed shaving her hair and displaying what some call bizarre behavior, she checked herself in and out of rehab for the second time in a week. About that time her ex-husband, Kevin Federline petitioned the court for an emergency custody hearing.

Britney traveled to Federline’s home in the San Fernando Valley to see their children, 5-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston. K-Fed did not answer the door, and this evidently angered the 25 year old Spears. The X-17 website says she was at the gate around 7 pm and rang the bell at his gate three times with no answer.
