Britney Spears may have titled her new single “Me Against The Music,” but she has rarely been more creatively in tune than she is right now. “I feel like I’ve hit a great new stride as an artist,” she says with pride. “I’ve worked hard, and I feel like I’ve grown on so many levels.”

In truth, “Me Against The Music” is hardly about declaring war against grooves. “Actually, it’s about the intensity that people approach music with,” Britney shares. “It’s about getting totally lost in the music and pushing yourself to the edge in every way you can imagine. I love thoroughly immersing myself in music, and I wanted to capture that intensity in a song.”

Pop singing superstar Mariah Carey has recently signed a profitable deal with soft drink giant Pepsi. The deal will have Carey produce 20 ring tones and star in a series of commercials in promotion for the product.

The diva is apparently thrilled with the offer and is planning on kicking off her summer tour with a Pepsi Smash performance in Los Angeles. This is the first full length tour for Carey in three years. Read more »

Mariah Carey has a personal assistant who holds and serves her drinks for her.

British TV presenter Graham Norton, who recently interviewed the singer, has revealed the star, known for her outrageous demands, summoned a staff member to her side whenever she was thirsty.

The camp comic star claims Mariah supped her drinks through a straw and wouldn’t even hold her beverages herself.

He said: “She put her head to one side for people to serve her a drink through a straw, like she was unable to use her hands.”

Singer Mariah Carey has splashed out $662,500 on a piano that used to belong to screen legend Marilyn Monroe.Carey bought the piano during an auction at Christie’s to have in her New York penthouse.

The newly svelte Carey said of her purchase: “I could have gotten the ‘Happy Birthday, Mr President’ dress or whatever, but that would have represented Marilyn Monroe’s stardom.

“The piano belonged to her mother and was a piece of her childhood.”

Carey is reportedly a lifelong fan of Monroe and has photos of the star all over her apartment…lets hope she doesn’t try and lay all over the piano and break the damn thing.
